Alex Ferro, M.D.

Dr. Alex Ferro is the Market Partner for HealthPlus Staffing’s Women’s Health Division in Florida, where he combines more than two decades of clinical experience with a passion for helping healthcare organizations recruit exceptional physicians and advanced practice providers. As a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, he brings a level of specialty-specific insight that enables HealthPlus to deliver a more informed and strategic approach to physician recruitment.

After earning his medical degree with Summa Cum Laude honors, Dr. Ferro completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology training at Mount Sinai Medical Center and Mercer University School of Medicine. Throughout his career, he has performed hundreds of complex gynecologic procedures, delivered thousands of babies, and cared for women across every stage of life. His commitment to clinical excellence earned him numerous distinctions during residency, including Chief Resident, the Resident Research Award, and the Excellence in Endoscopic Surgery Award. His research was also published in the prestigious *American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology*.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Ferro has served as an educator and mentor to future healthcare professionals while developing specialized expertise in functional, regenerative, and anti-aging medicine. His extensive clinical background allows him to evaluate candidates through the perspective of a practicing physician, offering clients and providers insights that extend well beyond a résumé or interview.

Away from work, Dr. Ferro enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing his lifelong passion for aviation. A licensed pilot since a young age, he continues to appreciate the discipline, precision, and continuous learning that both medicine and aviation demand—qualities that continue to shape his professional and personal life.
